So glad i read this series. The author brings humor, sadness, a great reality to her writing. Any one could be Claire. She was a very real character

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found the book entertaining because there were parts where I could identify with due to I was as a teenager and what I must have put my mother through. The not-so-funny part is I'm in the beginning stages of some of these antics with our own kids.

There were so many parts to appreciate about Claire as she continued to evolve. The worries of being a pastor's wife, wanting a wedding gown way out of her price range and becoming a dog walker to pay for, serving others through her dog walking business and eventually the assisted living facility she worked at. The ways in which we are quick to judge without having the whole picture. Wanting to be that great parent and struggling to know how to handle situations.

The situations that are presented in this book are so realistic and it is easy to get wrapped up in the story and appreciate how things are handled and on occasion, consider what you would have done in that particular situation.

I really love Claire. She is funny, down-to-earth, and at times a bit irreverent. She is a wonderful mother, a good friend, and a compassionate person. In short, she is a part of what every woman is. This book, for me, takes Christian Fiction to another level by making the every day walk with Christ seem like exactly what it is - an un-sugar-coated struggle to keep to the straight and narrow path, making right decisions. The ideals of Christ are interwoven so naturally that you don't think about them along the way and yet come away with the distinct feeling of, "Yeah, I've been there." I loved this book and simply cannot recommend it enough.

What can I say I am a sap for romance novels and although this is a Christian romance novel so it has a born again touch to it, which is a little weird for me since I am not a born again. I still enjoyed it. One thing that is nice about Christian Romance novels is that you don't have to worry about inappropriate language or scenes. It was a quick easy read and the third book of the Claire Everett series.

This was a funny book about a lady who is trying but not really succeeding at doing a good job in raising her kids without a husband.

I only vaguely remember reading this. I do not remember liking this novel as much as the others in the series.
