An invaluable resource for statistical consultants. Includes and explains many of those formulae for back-of-the-envelope sample-size calculations learned in a consulting class and then promptly forgotten. The guidelines for presenting data for publication are also useful, although I disagree with Dr. vanBelle on the appropriateness of bar graphs (I prefer them when the x axis is categorical).
