"…useful tools to organize and improve their classroom environment. …would appeal to teacher candidates and new elementary teachers who are learning how to organize their classrooms." - Resource Links

"It set everything you need to think about in one awesome place. It’s small enough to keep in your bag but full of ideas to consider. You’ll want to keep a note pad nearby as you read it." - Teacher Blogger

This quick read (think: ten minutes) is a must for any novice teacher, but don't let the thin read deceive you. Packed to the gills with organizational tips, time management ideas, and ways to respond, Carty's manual should be handed to every first year teacher at his or her graduation. I wish I had this rich resource when I was a newbie.
