I won this book ARC, and it deserves more than 5 stars.

I picked up this book with a biasness that was not in its favor. I had predetermined opinions about urban fiction; yet Trina prevailed over every last one of them. I am forced to apologize and admit that I was wrong. I applaud Darrell Debrew for not using the stereotypes of this genre as a selling point. He took a more profound exploration into the legal system, as well as the mechanics of a serial killer, that allowed the reader to see both

I won this book from the GoodReads First Reads giveaway.

This book was about Trina, a trained hitman, who ends up getting arrested and ends up going to trial. That's the basic plot.

This was not a bad book. It started out with a lot of promise. It was like a breath of fresh air from some of the books I've been reading lately.

I'm kind of picky when it comes to reading. I'll give anything a try and I'll finish it if it's well written. But little things that are written that make me think "well th

After informing her mother of what had been going on, her mother flat out thinks her daughter is lying. Trina murders the boyfriend, setting off a deep hatred from her mother who promptly has her daughter locked up in Juvenile and takes her other child, Trina’s twin brother Troy and moves to South Carolina.

I think this book is pretty. Thia girl named trina is basicaly a killer, its a certain way that she kills people then drops hydro ashes on the left side of their body. She became this way because her mothers boyfriend tried to rape her , so she killed him , she had nothing else t do. Then she went to juvinile , then a retired FBI agent too her in ad showed the ropes of things.

I won this book. I liked the premise of it, but it just didn't fly. It really needs editing for a start. Lots of editing. The other thing...I know it's fiction, but it was completely unbelievable. Actually, I didn't care much for the main character, either. But kudos to the author for the subject matter.
