The information and techniques explained in this book will give beginners a good start. It's great that the use of epoxy resin and regular polymer clay is included. My problem is that the many pieces of the author's work look very amateurish and lack the refinement of the pieces on the "Gallery" pages. I wish there were many more of those better examples.

I've read a number of differnt books on metal clay, including the first edition of this one, and it is the best I've found so far. Great pics, technique descriptions, and project ideas. Might have to pic this one up the next time Borders has a coupon.
