This book gives a brief overview of combat operations in Western Europe and North Africa but not in much detail. The order of battle information tends to be either in diagrams or simple listing of units (such as a list of French DLC divisions in May 1940) with practically no OB info in the text of the book itself. Some of the diagrams seem incomplete; for example, the 12th Army Group diagram on pages 180-181 lists only a single division in the XXIII Corps.
