Interesting anecdotes, although some wash together after a while. Occasionally funny, worthwhile compilation, if a very white, very moneyed view of the art world -- emphasis on the art world, and not so much the art. Sloppy copy-editing. Better in small doses, or read at random.

This is a fantastic book and a must-read for anyone with an interest in art. Predominant focus on British art industry.

picked this one up on a whim at the local book shop. an insider's view of the art scene (mostly UK) that reads like a weekend gossip column. man, artists can be so self-absorbed.
