Checked this out in the library to learn more about different properties in food sources and this sucker's got everything! Gorgeous photos, comprehensive overviews of nearly every food I can think of (or would be available to me), ability to cross-reference by ailment or foods themselves, strong perspective of prevention, glossary's of vitamins, minerals, and on the glycemic index...this is NOT a library book. This is a must-own type book. I have no chronic ailments or problems as of now (knock on wood!) but this book makes me confident I can amend my diet for prevention and options for treating ailments as they come. For anyone interested in learning more about home remedies or those wanting to fine-tune your diet for maximum health!
