下巻に入り意外な展開となる。地球と火星だけではなく、太陽系を越えて銀河系にまで話が広がる。仮定体の正体にも迫り、宇宙に生きる生命体へと想像が広がる。スピンの状態も変わるし、人類も進化する。地球と火星の関係も変わる。ただし、地球というか人類はあまり変わらないかもしれない。そんなところは著者の人類に対する皮肉だろうか。複雑なストーリーでもなく、ある意味予想できる範囲の結末であるが、描写が細かくて映像が生き生きと頭の中で再生される。面白かった。続篇は「無限記憶」になるので、こちらも読みたいと思う。

I chose it because it was introduced as the best foreign sci-fi of 2008.
It was pretty good. There are various episodes, and I thought some episodes might be unnecessary. However, I reconsidered that novels are like this.

Time speed becomes one hundred million times!!!!!!!!!!
First half of the novel is boring but in the middle of reading it, then it becomes interesting.
