I love the Coles. Alexandra and Merrick's story is one of my favs. I love the mystery and dangerousness of Merrick and Ali's strength and independence. Two different personalities but still so much alike. She taught him how to love whole heartedly and he taught her to trust in love again.
It's been awhile since I've read this book and I'm glad I decided to read it again. I love the Cole family and friends and have read most of their stories. I really like Merrick because he was a lone wolf who needed to be loved by a good woman and her family. Alexandra was able to see past Merrick's stoic exterior and get to know the man who changed her life. Merrick was so strong, caring and loving that I rooted for him from the beginning. Alexandra was smart and knew that being friends with Merrick was going to change her life and I'm so glad that she took that chance with Merrick. Another great read by Ms. Alers and one I'm sure I'll be reading again.
If this work was a theatrical performance, I would give a standing ovation. The author has regaled, amused and delighted me with series, "The Eatons" , "Cavanaugh Island", " Innkeepers " and other single books.
This "Hideaway Legacy" has proven to be just as entertaining as the other series. I wish that I could buy all in Kindle format for reading.
Not only did I get a HEA with a great romance but, a great suspense that added a family for a orphan and reunited old friends. An amazing story!
There are so many children left in foster care, that have psychological issues. People have no idea of how the scar such children. Some turn out with good values, other can't find themselves remaking in that slump of the foster care system.
This is part of the Cole Family Dynasty and does not disappoint. Merrick is the striking stranger with a past and Alexanderia is one of the Coles who is not looking for love. It was a great book to read.
I have just started reading books by Rochelle Alers this is actually the second read. She did not disappoint, I really like how she brook the story down into three parts. Very very good read.
Alexandra was one of my favorite of the Coles family. The passion, mystery, and suspense in this book kept me on edge. Merrick and Ali's love story is one of my favorite in the series.
Read this story 10 years ago. Merrick and Alexandra are so special and unique - their love just warms your heart. A love story will be special 10 years from today.
This was a good book it took me about two weeks to finish it because it was so long Anything with romance and babies in it is guaranteed to be a good read :-)
