This is the 2 year old preschool curriculum we have chosen for our son to start in Fall 2012. I have now read the book and started thinking of how to supplement and/or change the lesson plans provided. The book is well organized with each lesson planned out so the parent isn't stressing over what to do each day. My biggest complaint is that it seems short on material. For the past few months I have "tested" some of the lessons on my 17 month old, and he seemed to want to do more after we finished. I think I will be supplementing with either Pre-K Scholars or something similar.
This is the curriculum I used for my oldest two for the 2009/2010 year, and will be using for my middle two for the 2010/2011 year. I absolutely love the Heart of Dakota curriculum! It is so rich and comprehensive, yet simple and easy to prepare each day. Not to mention, the kids are excited to do it without fail!
Not our favorite. Lots of things to copy which is hard because the book is bound. The kids thought it was just ok - nothing to get excited about. I like how each section has things for younger and older preschool kids. Everything is Bible based which is great but some of the activities and crafts are pretty lame. I've tried twice to get through this with my kids but we all just lose interest.
