I purchased this book because of my wildlife management studies, along with other field guides and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Even if you simply have an interest in wildlife, it's a great book. A lot of information, details, and excellent illustrations.

I have an earlier (3rd) edition...always find the Peterson guides useful references.
