Better Homes and Gardens is one of the "Seven Sisters", a group of women's service magazines.
A cool Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. This has 164 recipes (I'm trusting the book; I didn't count!). Nice pictures of the dishes. Pretty good description of how you'd actually carry out the recipe (some cookbooks leave out steps or are unclear about certain key features of recipes).
If you like grilling, this will be a nice resource. Examples of some interesting recipes: Beer-marinated pork chops; Beer can chicken; Tex-Thai Chicken breasts; Grilled fish with Moroccan Vinaigratte; Grilled cheesy potatoes (delicious!); Pulled pork shoulder with a dry rub. There are also some neat hot dog recipes at the end.
Anyhow, once one fires up a grill, there are some interesting recipes to try out from this work.
