"I'm Trump, Animal Liaison Officer at Pet Vet Clinic." It's Trump's job to help sick animals, and while all of the patients who come to Pet Vet clinic are interesting, some are more interesting than others...
Take Diamond the python for example.
When Diamond escapes from a moving van, all the animals panic. It's up to Trump, Dr. Jeanie's Jack Russell terrier, to calm them down, and to help find Diamond.
Darrel Odgers was born in Tasmania. He has been married to Sally Odgers since 1979, and they have two adult children. Darrel and Sally Odgers have co-written several books, including the popular Jack Russell: Dog Detective series.
Read with my 10 year old. The story moved along at a good pace, it had positive characters and was educational. It highlighted charactistics of dogs, cats and python in a way that fit the story and added to the book without being to weighed down with facts. Very good for a kids book.
I wish the snake did something more. These title’s should all be “Trump’s Adventures Vol. 1” and so on with “Python problem” as the subtitle. It makes you think the story will be about the snake... it should have been more about Peter Wu... now that was a good scene!
The problem in this book is that there was a python that broke out of its cage and went all over the place. Trump, a dog that helps a pet vet, tried to figure out where the python went.
I liked this book because it had a lot of animals in it like the other books I read from this series.
Another fantastic addition to the Pet Vet series. I've been reading these books with my son. We both love Trump's dedication and spunk. I'm a big fan of Major Higgins!
