PreK-2nd
I really liked this book! With children's informational texts I would have thought I wouldn't learn much but I was blown away about how many little fun facts I learned. I love how this book explains some really difficult topics in super friendly kid language. I would no doubt read this to my students if we were talking about space. I love how it doesn't only talk about gravity, but astronauts life and satellites.

Very informative book about what astronauts go through and how they live in space. This book focuses on the ways that astronauts go about their biological lives and how their surroundings are designed for allowing the necessities of life to continue. The accompanying illustrations are great and have little labels showing all the different parts of the space suits, the toilets, and the dinners.

This book gave a lot of information on astronauts in space. It is a great factual read that would be very useful in an elementary science class where students can learn about some of the challenges that you face when in space! I learned a lot myself, and I highly recommend!

A nonfiction picture book about gravity and space travel. Describes how astronauts have to deal with zero gravity and the technology created to help them do the ordinary requirements of life in space.

The reasons behind Earth's gravity is explained in terms young students are able to understand. It explains what it is like to be an astronaut and how they perform day-to-day activities. Foods, procedures and funny ideas are explained. Useful for science, especially a space unit.

This book shows what daily life is like for astronauts while in space. My first graders loved the illustrations of the astronauts' food and the explanations of the different parts of the astronauts' space suits.
