A cute story with our favorite goose, Albert, going to an apple farm with a busload of kids. I loved Albert as the school carpenter in our previous book, but not as much in this one. It took me a bit to even realize this was the same Albert. My kids were mostly bored with the story, seeing as there were quite a few words on each page, but some of the pictures held their attention, and it generated conversation about our yearly foray to the apple farm to pick our own and take hayrides. I enjoyed it, so I think I'll keep this in mind for a future read.

Way too many words for young kids and the art isn't that great, but cute story. It'd odd that it's written from a first person perspective but we don't know which animal is telling the story because it's not Albert.

Albert’s class goes to Georgie and Gracie’s Apple Farm. They pick apples and send them through the apple washer. They visit the apple juice room and eat apple pies. But the best part of the field trip is when they get home.
