The one person who holds the power to save two trapped Feral Warriors is the same woman who broke Kougar's heart and their mating bond a thousand years ago. The love and heartbreaking loss Kougar felt for Ariana is now replaced with anger and contempt for letting him believe she has been dead. Whether she wants to or not, he will make her help his fellow Ferals. Ariana, queen of the Ilinas, did what she had to a thousand years ago to save the remaining of her kind and Kougar's life. The

I devoured the first three books in the Feral Warriors series when they first came out six years ago. Since then I have been meaning to get caught up, but my obsession with paranormal romance has waned. I have had Hunger Untamed on my bookshelf since its release and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get back into this world.

Okay, I have a confessionI really didnt like Kougar. He was just so cold, distant and not at all likeable. But that was before I read Hunger Untamed. Now I hate that the book had to end!

Kougar is from the times where shifter numbers were many, but when they had to put their powers together with the other immortals to trap Satanan they lost most of them and now there is only one shifter for every animal and the Feral Warriors were formed. Kougar was the chief of the Ferals until he lost his mate

One of the many things I love about this series is how when going from one book to the next there isnt any time gap. When we closed Jag and Olivias book Kougar was going to hunt an Ilina. He is hoping to find his mate that he has had no contact with for a thousand years. For this being a rekindle story it did not flow in that sense. There is a reason they have been apart, it is the reason they have remained apart. When Ariana and Kougar initially became mates someone close to them slipped them a ...more

A little disappointed, I waited for this book and was excited to read it, but it was a bit of a let down, I actually skipped pages. I didn't like that she didn't have a good reason for staying away from him for so long. The poor guy has been through hell and still forgives her, which made me like him, but I felt as if she didn't really deserve him. It's good, the love scenes are good, but I don't like the heroine that much. Glad Tighe and Hawk are ok.

I was thinking that this series was good enough but not great in anyway. Too much talk in the heat of the moment, which is always giving in to the love bond. This one took it way too far for me and bored me way too much. The only thing that makes it a OK read is the over arcing plot, and even that fell a bit short. I didn't hate it, dislike it, therefore not a 1 star, but I didn't like it either.

So here is the good first. The relationship between Nicole and Wulfe is started here. She was taken

The first four books in this series blew me away! This one -- not so much. While I still enjoyed the wild ride the author took me on, I think I just had a hard time because of the main characters.

Kougar and Ariana were mated in the past. They thought being from different races wouldn't hurt their love for each other, but fate had other ideas. After an attack on the Iliana race that Ariana is the Queen for, they are forced to go into hiding and break communication with Kougar.

Kougar thinks that
Cougar spent the last millennium mourning for his lost mate - his Ariana. He closed himself off from emotions and lived a half-life for so long. And then he found out the truth. She is alive. The betrayal was unimaginable, the other half of his soul betrayed him, betrayed the love they shared. He might have just left her if Ariana wasn't needed to help save the Ferals that were trapped.

Ariana had her reasons for doing what she did. She had to protect not only herself, but her race and her mate

Ok once again I LOVED this book!!!!! The characters were sexy, the plot was intriguing, and the sex was possitively delectable! Kougar seemed so different in this one then the others. I'm very happy that it ended well for everyone, well almost everyone. I felt bad for Wulfe since he was starting to like Natalie and she had to go back to her life and fiancé without any memories of him or what happened to her friends and brother. I really hope that isn't the last we see of her. Wulfe deserves to ...more

Two Feral Warriors are trapped in a spirit trap, their animals will be separated from them, the warriors will die, and the animals will remain trapped unless they could be freed from the trap. There was a way to free them, but it requires the help of the Iliana Queen. The immortal world believed the Ilianas had all perished a thousand year ago. They had not. Feral Warrior Kougar and Ariana, Queen of the Ilianas, were mated and for about twenty-five years he had known she was not dead. Kougar ...more

After a battle with the Mage, Hawke and Tighe are in the spirit vortex where their animal spirit is being ripped from their body. Kougar is determined to help them however, he must depend on his mate who up until this point he thought dead. He is furious and heart broken over her betrayal and reluctant to trust her again. However he had no choice if he wants to save his friends. I liked that they didn't just fall back into love but had to work at it which made it more realistic.

I love the feral warriors series but this book failed to really shine for me. Not to say it wasn't good but I just struggled to like the characters. Kougar has never come across as likable so it was hard to warm to him. Ariana just seemed a bit of a soppy wet rag really, a none character. I'd start to like her then she'd do or say something so stupid I couldn't stand her again.
That said the sex scenes were the usual hot smelting heat and there were many. Kougar may be personality challenged but

I really want to kick myself for falling behind on this series. Hunger Untamed is well written with great characters. You can't help feeling bad for both Ariana and Kougar, and all the lost years. A must read.

This book was choppier than the others. It flips back and forth quite a bit between the characters, which can be annoying even if it is necessary for the plot. It was interesting and I definitely enjoyed reading Kougar's story.
This series keeps getting better and better. I absolutely loved this book and the new additions to the series. I really felt for Kougar and I loved hearing his story.

When a reader is in the mood for a gripping and suspenseful read on the dark side, where the hero and heroines have to be strong because the villains seem stronger, then this book delivers with nail biting intensity.

Hunger Untamed is the latest adventure that follows the Feral Warriors men with animal spirits who guard the unsuspecting human population from an unspeakable evil. Their world is harsh, violet and blood flows freely. The

Only reason I recommend this book is because its part of the series and helps tie the stories together. It was not an enjoyable read. It was hard to keep focus on and get through.

I listened to the audiobook title. This series must be read in order; SEE READING ORDER at end of review.

Now a devoted fan of the Feral Warrior series, I had high expectations of this fifth story about Kougar, the oldest of the shifter warriors, and his thought long-dead mate, Ariana, Queen of the Ilinas . After the heights author Palmer reached in the previous novel (Paenther's story), in which I felt she'd truly hit her stride and

Once I discovered the Feral Warriors series, I literally read one after another. You really do need to read them in order because the next book starts where the last one stopped. I loved Rapture Untamed and was very excited to start Hunger Untamed but it failed to satisfy. I almost felt that Palmer wore herself out a little on Rapture and didn't have the enough energy for Hunger. In this book, I really expected Lyon and Kara to be called upon for marriage counseling for Kougar and Ariana. I have ...more

In this story, we have Kougar, the oldest and most reclusive of the warriors as our hero. For our heroine, we have a new species called Ilinas, named Ariana. Ilinas can turn to mist and live in a plane the Crystal Realm. Everyone has thought that they were all killed off over a 1,000 years ago. Kougar and Ariana had mated before this when he was still the leader of the Feral Warriors and she was the queen

Kougar is the focus of this fifth book in the Feral Warriors series. Hawke and Tighes lives hang in the balance and the one person who may be able to save them is Ariana, Kougars estranged mate and love, who for hundreds of years he thought dead. Once he discovered her alive the sadness and loss he once felt is overshadowed by betrayal and a need for revenge upon this woman who would be so careless with his heart and the mating bond.

Im new to this series and wasnt quite aware that Hunger Untamed was the fifth book, and even if I did, I doubt I would have been persuaded to not get it. I was intrigued by the short summary at the back and I imagined being pulled into a story that tugged at my emotions. This book didnt really live up to that point of amazing-ness, but it still had this world that I just cant be helped but pulled into.

I guess Im lucky in reading this book first because I get to read about Kougar, who I believe
