"First of all, just for the record, I love me some me. You heard right. . .I truly love Miss Queenisha Renae Sutton. The tall, well-endowed, fine honey-coated sistah that I be."
Queenisha Renae Sutton is always ready, willing and able to walk away from any man who either can't or won't appreciate her, because after all, she is all woman. Then she meets tall and handsome Zeke Washington at a charity fundraiser, and buys him lock, stock and barrel. For one night. Determined to get her money's worth, she approaches their first date with one to make Zeke her man, no matter what the cost. With the help of her best friend, Poetta, who puts a "voodoo hex" on Zeke to help lure him in, Queenisha gets more than she bargained for. And before long she finds herself changing to please a man. And if love wasn't complicated enough, she discovers an even sweeter love where she least expects it.
This was a good book, even though it was very slow to start. I hate the cover because Queenie is a plus size chick but the cover model is not. I liked all the characters and their situations. Queenie was a strong and confident in all areas of her life except men. She kept falling for all the wrong men and looking past and through the one who loved her unconditionally. It was funny how Queenie subconsciously liked almost everything about Ray but her mouth denied liking the man. I would have like to heard more from Jay, their manager, because his one scene was hilarious.
I picked up this book because of the title. It proved to be a good choice although it contained some curse words and the three sex scenes all depend on how graphic your imagination can be. With that said, I enjoyed reading this book which picked up speed closer to the ending.
Queenie and Poetta are two characters that you love to hate and end up rooting for because after all they are the ones paying a high price to get a man. There is some burning of in scent that is unsettling but it reminded you that some women will go through anything to get a man.
I’m not sure if this was a love story or weirdly funny. One thing for sure, it’s a story you will want to read till the end.
I really loved it!! This shows you that you shouldn't ignore what is right under your nose. Your idea of the man you want isn't always God's plan. Listen to God and quit trying to do it yourself.

It definitely had some twists and turns. There's a few parts where I felt I couldn't put the book down, had to finish that chapter and find out what happens. Overall, pretty good.
This book was all over the place. I kept closing it to look at the cover, read the title to see if I was off. I kept reading in hopes it would get better. My husband actually picked this book out for me on one of our trips to B &N. It's now a running joke in our house that that's the last time I will take a recommendation from him.
