I originally read this series when it was released by a different publisher. In fact, I have re-read this series several times. It is one of my favorites by Lexi Blake (Sophie Oak). So when I heard Miz Blake was revamping and re-releasing them I knew I had to get my greedy little hands on these new versions. 
So honestly I have little to say about this one. I loved it. No surprise there. I haven't re-read it in a long while, but I am sure the PROLOGUE is new. I didn't notice anything else that differed from the original but like I said it's been a while since I have last read it. As is always the case with this author it was well written and well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. Most of the books in this series are menages which is catnip for me. There was pretty much no angst and no OM drama but there was a tiny bit of OW drama. It was also insta-love. The sex scenes were SMOKIN' HOT and plentiful. There was a nice cast of secondary characters and all three main characters were very likable. Abby was a great heroine. I don't have too much to say about her. I liked her. She was strong and sassy and had a big heart. Sam was adorable. He is sexy and sweet and funny. He goes all in right from the start. Jack takes a little longer to convince, but when he decides Abby is theirs, there is no stopping him. He is the DOM in the relationship and lord almighty is he f-ing panty melting. There is a little twist near the end that adds an extra dynamic to the threesome. Not to mention made the book that much hotter!
On a side note, this book features an older woman and two younger men which if you know me then you know I rarely enjoy that trope. That said, Lexi Blake seems to be the ONLY author that can get me to enjoy it. Not only enjoy it but RE-READ the books with the scenario. Last, this one ends in a sweet way but there is a follow-up book featuring these three and it will be re-releasing soon. I guess I had more to say than I thought (lol). All in all, this was a great little read and therefore yours truly is giving it two HUGE thumbs up!

As a long time fan of Lexi Blake, I'm ashamed to admit I never read her books published under Sophie Oaks. So when I saw that she'll be revamping these books for a re-release, I eagerly jumped at the chance to read them. I live for this woman's words. She writes some of the most addicting and sizzling erotic romance and I'll never get enough.
A sexy menage romance? SIGN. ME. UP.
I love the small town setting and the set up is certainly intriguing. A beautiful young girl from the wrong side of the wrong tracks falls for the wrong boy and it costs her everything. Shunned from the town she grew up in, forced to leave her beloved mother, pregnant and alone, Abigail Moore makes a life for herself outside of her hometown. Twenty years later, she's back, but she's not the same scared girl she once was. And while many of the town folks are less than thrilled to see her again, two men are more than intrigued.
Jack and Sam may have had a similar life, but they couldn't be more different. Sam is sweet, with a quick smile and his heart on his sleeve. Jack is broody, intense, and a man of few words. Sam falls for the beautiful Abby as soon as he sees her but Jack takes some convincing to realize that Abbi wants exactly what they have to give.
In a small town setting, you'd get exactly what you'd expect; nosy towns people, a snooty matriarch that despises Abbi beyond reason and will stop at nothing to drive her out again, and plenty of great secondary characters.
The menage hints towards an MMF though it never quite....gets there. I'm assuming we'll get more in the future books. While I loved Sam's character and easy going nature, I found him to be a little underwhelming sexually. He wasn't quite beta, though he was definitely not an alpha. Jack certainly balances things out with his quiet intensity and I loved the notes of BDSM we get in the story.
Now admittedly, had I read this even two years ago, I probably would have rated higher. As it was, I enjoyed this story immensely but it's not something that blew me away. It was good, if not slightly predictable, and sizzling hot. I wish we would have gotten more of the MM relationship in this one, but I'm thinking that may be further fleshed out in the next book.

I just realized (from years ago) Sophie Oak is the same person with Lexi Blake. FYI, Lexi Blake always be my TOP author for Erotic BDSM. My fave blogger kinda recommend to read this series. So yeah, I jump into the water.
I thought the story will be short. Like really short (maybe novella) but, no. It was veryyyy long and I didn't anticipate it. Honestly, I never bother with menage M/F/M. I know the cover such a major turn off but it's from 2010 :) The story isn't really a problem for me. Steady paced and well written.
Overall I enjoyed the chemistry between main characters. Jack and Sam in pursue for Abigail to include in their life forever. Abigail already feel the attraction towards them but didn't catch the signal. It was funny, though. Even with her age, she could be innocent. Poor Abigail has been 'bullied' almost years because of nothing. But money and power talks and she couldn't do anything about it. She's very lucky to have Jack and Sam in her life because they cared. I liked the conflict that happened in that small town. I loved how their fix the communication problem with Abigail and she's reasonable enough.
Why 3.5? I didn't expect Sam to be a beta. Yes, Luke radiated alpha power and I didn't expect Sam has submissive bones. It doesn't has explicit M/M scene, so I could enjoyed it. Sorry because M/M isn't really my cuppa. A little bit over-the-top but still okay for me.

I succumbed. I was going to hold out for another month or so, but I couldn't do it. Had to try the Siren series from Ms. Oak. She did mention they were more BDSM. Yes, there was a bit more BDSM in this than Bliss. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this series as much as Bliss. I'm happy to report I do like Siren, differently than Bliss, but I do like this one.
This first story of menage was hot. Sam is a sexy sub. I like him, even if he is kind of slutty. Jack is "wow". I like Jack. If Jack used his dom voice on me, I think I'd fall to my knees just as quickly. Abby is so sweet. I like how she's survived despite all odds. She is just adorable.
When the three of them are together, it's flame time. Their sex is hot. Jack is a pretty easy going dom. I realize in the book he's supposed to be a "big bad dom". I just don't see it. He only spanks her 20 times. Puleeze. 20 times is barely a warm up. Seriously, I'm sleeping through 20 spanks.
Still, this is a hot little number and Ms. Oak creates another wonderful menage. What I loved most was the men being together too. That is what I want to see in a menage - a true three people together.

I first discovered Lexi Blake shortly after she published her first book under the name Sophie Oak and was immediately enchanted. Since then, she has grown into awesome writer and a must buy author for me. She is re-releasing her Bliss, Colorado and Siren books under her Lexi Blake name and updating them as she goes. She will also be combining the characters from the older series with her Masters and Mercenaries series. For me, it is timely, as I just finished re-reading the older books.
The first of the books she is bringing out again is Small Town Siren, a book that focuses on Abby Moore, who was once driven out of the town of Willow Fork Texas by the family of her boyfriend after he died in a car wreck. She returns to take care of her mother, who has had a bad fall. Abby has worked her way through school to become a nurse, while raising her daughter by herself and is uniquely qualified to nurse her mom.
She immediately catches the eye of Sam Fleetwood and his business partner, Jack Barnes, and the attraction is mutual. But can the trio find happiness when the family that drove Abby out once is still actively trying to get her to leave town.
We get more of the backstory for Sam, Jack and Abby in the new version, but the main part of the story remains the same. Expect some hot sex, including mild BDSM, menage, and an intriguing story. While the book has plenty of angst and satisfaction there is not as much of the author's laugh out loud humor. It is still a worthwhile read, and the updates make it even better.

Jack and Sam met in foster care and have been together ever since, they work together running their own cattle ranch and they play together whenever they find a willing woman but they've never found someone that they wanted to be a permanent partner until they meet Abby. Abby left Willow Fork twenty years ago under a cloud of scandal that she didn't deserve and she had no intention of ever returning. She's only come home now to take care of her sick mother but she plans on keeping her head down and escaping as soon as her mother has recovered enough to look after herself again. Plans change when she gets caught up in Jack and Sam but if the rest of the town can't leave the past where it belongs then Abby is never going to feel comfortable making her home there.
After loving Lexi Blake's recent rerelease of the newly updated Three to Ride I couldn't wait to pick up more of her stories so I immediately purchased a copy of Small Town Siren. This story has also been updated with extra chapters and additional scenes and the author is slowly rereleasing all of her books that were previously published under the pen name Sophie Oak. If you enjoy small town romances but are looking for something hotter than average and with a nice amount of suspense then I think these books are well worth checking out, especially if you're partial to menage stories!
I have to confess I didn't love the atmosphere of Willow Fork quite as much I did Bliss, there were some nice characters and I liked Abby's childhood best friend and her family but in general people in the town seemed more judgmental and willing to hold a grudge than they did in Three to Ride. Bliss is more full of fun, quirky characters and a bit of an anything goes kind of place so it had a lighter atmosphere. Having said that I think that one person in particular was causing a lot of the problems in Willow Fork and I'm really hoping that we'll see things start to change in future books!
To get back to the important part of the story I can say that I absolutely loved Jack and Sam. They're best friends who are as close as you can get but in a lot of ways they're opposites so Abby really does get the best of both worlds when she falls for both of them. Sam is more laid back and relaxed, he's happy to go with the flow and he's willing to follow Jack's lead while Jack is the dark and brooding type who is more intense and definitely prefers to be in control. They've both had difficult pasts but Abby's background hasn't been a bed of roses either so they all understand each other and are able to fulfil each other's needs.
The chemistry between them all is intense and explosive and I didn't have a problem at all with their instant lust but I do think their relationship developed quickly and moved into love and marriage territory a little too fast. I've since found out that the second book in the series, Siren in the City, is also devoted to this triad though so I'm really hoping that will give me the growing bonds I was hoping for in this one. I'm definitely happy to spend more time with these three though, I really enjoyed the beginnings of their relationship and now I'm excited to watch that relationship strengthen and get deeper.

You might be surprised by this, but when I first started reading romance novels, the word and the concept of a ménage never entered my orbit. I know, right? Well, in 2010 I discovered the likes of romance author Sophie Oak and her Nights in Bliss Series, as well as her Texas Sirens Series. The covers were scandalous which drew me in, and the word ménage became a part of my vocabulary. As you can expect from there, Sophie Oak brought me to the workings of Lexi Blake who would soon become one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE AUTHORS! Now, in 2018 Lexi Blake is starting to re-release books from her Texas Sirens Series, giving us new material in each! This started off my year right! I can’t even begin to tell you how ecstatic I was to have heard this news and to gain early access to SMALL TOWN SIREN. I loved this book back then, and I fell even harder for Jack, Sam, and Abby this go-round. I’m SMITTEN! I’m ENAMORED! I’m ADDICTED all over again!
I’m extremely jealous for those of you experiencing this book and these characters for the very first time. There is NOTHING like that feeling at all, but diving back into this world, falling back in love with these characters, comes close, for sure! HOT HOT HOT sex scenes, EMOTIONAL and SUSPENSEFUL storylines, EPIC writing…there’s just nothing like it out there. For you newbies, my heart is exploding for you! For die-hard fans of Lexi Blake/Sophie Oak, we don’t even need words, you and I. You know what this greatness is. Let’s share it with the rest of the romance world! If you are looking for a series to absolutely fall in love with this year, look no further! Happy 2018, indeed!

Finally....I got a Kindle which allowed me to buy this ebook. I have been busting a poofle valve to read it and damn near burst one with enjoyment while reading it.
Abigail is a good female lead, she's strong but not stupidly so, she's caring, put herself through education while raising a child and caring for a terminally ill husband; and she was open minded to boot. Her punishment, by the small town doyenne of Willow Fork and her cronies, basically for dating her much loved son when he died, would have cracked a lesser person. But not Abigail. She had a good friend in Christa, plus her husband Mike. Christa was a major conspirator in getting Abigail, when she gets back into town after 20 years away, together with the incredibly hunky Jack and Sam.
Jack and Sam are two parts of a whole, Jack has looked out for and loved Sam (and Sam very much loves Jack) since their meeting as children in the (orphanage/foster) system. They too have pulled themselves up from the bottom and made a good go of life. Sam is the impulsive, adorably energetic and sweet one. Jack is more stoic, but caring for the smaller group he feels close too, and the underdog. I LOVED Jack Barnes, my lord what an intense and yummy male, no way, no how would you get in this mans way if he meant business, or you pissed him off. I loved the way he looked out for those he loved, and the way he let people know in a cool, calm, yet intimidating manner that they overstepped the mark.
The writing was terrific - lean, yet graphic, sexy, and the main characters were like people you would actually want to know. I laughed out loud in a number of places, and I loved the girl bar fight, you go fiesty Abbie (all with a butt plug in place, baha). I will be buying and reading much, much more of Sophie Oak, my Kindle purred with happiness through this story, as did I. A book definitely worth every bit of the 5 star rating.

Abby’s hand went to the tie of the robe. She shrugged out of it. “I wonder how this is going to work when I’m eighty.”
Jack looked at her with a very serious expression on his face. “Maybe you should think about this, Abigail. I know we’re demanding a lot from you. You need to understand this isn’t some phase that’s going to pass. When you’re eighty, I will still think you’re beautiful. I will still consider your body mine, and I will still want you naked.”
Abby pulled the shirt over her head and blinked back tears. She wondered if he knew he’d said the precise thing to make her comfortable. For a man who didn’t talk a lot, he always knew what to day to her.
ETA 12/09/2018: As one of my absolute favourite books, I can't wait for this to be released as an audiobook on Sept 18th, 2018. Don't let me down, voice artist. Jack Barnes is a fictional god and he better sound like he does to me - perfect.
Edited to add 03/11/2018 Now listening to the audiobook version, which is scary enough because it's Jack Barnes and I'm terrified of the narration of one of my favourite characters.

ETA 12/09/2018: As one of my absolute favourite books, I can't wait for this to be released as an audiobook on Sept 18th, 2018. Don't let me down, voice artist. Jack Barnes is a fictional god and he better sound like he does to me - perfect.
Edited to add 03/11/2018 Now listening to the audiobook version, which is scary enough because it's Jack Barnes and I'm terrified of the narration of one of my favourite characters.
So far, more Ruby Echols as a lead-in to the book is doing my head in. *Bites nails.
I like the new section from Jack's POV - we have a cattle ranch, Jack. Aww, Samuel. I love me some Jack and Sam. The male narrator is pretty good so far, happy with Abby's narrator too.

This was my second time reading about this poly-couple and my first time reading this new edition. This was the first book in the
"Texas Siren"
series. Abigail "Abby" Moore was run out of the small town of Willow Fork, TX 20 years ago with a bun in her oven. When her mother falls and breaks her hip Abby comes back to Willow Fork to care for her. While at her best friends house Christa she meets a hot sexy cowboy Sam Fleetwood. Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood have been friends for years they met in foster care years ago and they became best friends. They bought a ranch outside of Willow Fork and became rich when they discovered that the ranch is sitting on some kind of natural resource. When Jack meets Abby he wants her also but he didn't think she could handle the two of them until they find out what type of books that she likes turns out she likes reading about BDSM and threesomes then all bets are off. They begin dating her Abby thinks that they are gay. I wanted more M/M in this book although it was still hot. The town is rude and nasty to Abby all because they think she is a whore the mother of her late boyfriend who got her pregnant I wanted to slap that old lady she was crazy she blamed Abby for her son dying in a car accident that he was killed in while driving drunk. It was also crazy that an old lady turned a whole town against her and I was so glad when Jack stood up to the steakhouse owner. I also liked that Abby decided to take a stand and the thing in the store was funny. When Ruby Echols threatened to ruin Jack's business she tries to leave the guys but Jack wasn't having it he knew something was wrong. This was a good read and the narrator was also good. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series.

I really enjoyed this book. It had a slightly different twist on menage lifestyle. Of course, what menage book would be complete without someone with an evil plot to harm the main character...at least this time it wasn't a stalker...that gets old. I am very excited the next book goes even further into the lives of the new threesome--can't wait for that one!

This book did not really work out for me, even though it stand higher than most erotic romances.
The characters were easy to like and could have been really good ones, had they been developed. The plot was ok and more credible than most, until the artificial grand finale, which really made me cringe, all the more so that it served absolutely no purpose in the story, just to have the villain look even meaner, stupider and madder. But it was not useful at all.
What I really missed in this book was a bit more context and understanding in the characters before the story starts. Some things just did not seem to work out, as they were, especially regarding the relationship that was not a relationship but might have been one for one of them, between the two men. It left me confused and thinking that it felt fake.

Just read this story again and loved all the characters. Jack is so brooding and hot. Sam is just fun loving and sweet and Abby is such a strong woman without being annoying.

I read this book before only I didn’t remember it at all. So picking up this book felt like the first time.
Abby is the town’s outcast because of a bitter old woman.
Abby loses the love of her life to an accident and is left with a daughter.
Years go by.
Abby is not ready for love and she finds it in the most unexpected of places. Sam and Jack come into her life right when she was able to open up to them.
I loved the threesome aspects of this story there was no drama surrounding their relationship just with the old lady.
I enjoyed the narration, for the most part, sometimes Sam’s accent from the narrator just didn’t work for me. But other than that it was good.
I might continue the series.

I really liked this. Very fun characters, an interesting story and setting, and I really like the relationship. I’m actually excited that the same couple comes back for book two because there’s still so much I want to learn about them and see with them. I will definitely be continuing with this series and reading more from this author.

Figures that I am ending my reading slump with a ménage story. My first book in this year and it was an okay read.
I already read a few books by Sophie Oaks so I knew what I was going into. She always tries to add a little plot and depth to her threesomes and I really appreciate that in the sea of stupid erotica only books.
It isn‘t a very good plot and a lot of things are lacking, but it is a nice, fast and easy read.

This is the first 5 star I have read in awhile. This book was FABULOUS!! This is a book with a great story, and GREAT sex scenes. I fell in love with the characters, and I am in awe of how much depth there was to the people in this shorter novel.

This is a M/F/M menage story. We get Sam and Jack. Two cowboys (yes ladies...cowboys...yummy), who live in a small town that sees the infamous Abby returning after a 20 year absence. Along with a sweet little seduction from our two tortured-soul cowboys, we get the struggle of Abby working her way into a town that has shunned her for two decades.
I won't go into all the details but there were a few subplots that had me smiling like an idiot. They played into the bigger story well, and added to the big picture the author painted beautifully IMO.
The begining of the book had me worried that it would be a little sudden in the emotional department. But I found the whole tale realistic, and complete. All my loose ends were tied up into a wonderful HEA, and there was a very very light M/M/F scene. Those of you that want the boys all over each other too, may feel a little teased, but I implore you to try this novel.
I am off to go start stalking this author. Five stars. Two thumbs up, and a big fat squishy! READ THIS!

I deeply enjoyed this book. I felt immersed in the character's lives, I thought Ruby Echols was a truly great villain, and although this is an erotic romance -- I also found myself rolling with laughter many times.
Jack and Sam make me want to move to small town Texas (if only they were out there waiting for me).
I am so excited I found this book. What a treat!

So I never knew that Lexi Blake wrote as Sophie Oak til I was approached to review her Texas Sirens series that she is re-releasing. And I will be honest, as much as I LOVE Lexi's Master and Mercenaries series, I was a little apprehensive about reading this series because I am not one for southern settings and cowboys - just not my cuppa. But I thought, ok, let's give this a whirl anyway.
I am torn on this book and I think the only reason I liked this book enough to finish it was because of Lexi's writing and her steamy and hot sex scenes. Outside of that, this book wasn't making me love it. I have a hard time grasping insta-loves and this one fell short for me. Sam was a tough one for me to grasp on to - I can't explain why, but he just felt underwhelming overall to me. Jack - yea, he just screams alpha in every aspect. I did enjoy Abby's story and that helped keep me stay engrossed in the story.
The pace of the book was decent. I have to say that the sex scenes in this book are what really have me not lowering the rating past a 3. LOL If you enjoy your sex scenes with a lot of heat and seduction, Lexi delivers them. I was bit let down when the hint of a ménage would happen but didn't really (read to find out what I mean).
I liked the book enough to read the next one and see what happens between these three.

The characters in this book live in Willow Run, Texas, where apparently a crazy old lady and her old biddy friends can make life miserable for a woman just because she's a girl from the wrong side of the tracts who got pregnant by the old lady's son (who died). When Abby returns to care for her sick mother, she meets Jack and Sam, two guys looking for one woman to share their lives with. However, the aforementioned crazy old lady is really crazy, and will do anything to drive Abby out of town.
This book is interesting. I have a hard time believing that in the 21st century an old lady with a grudge can make someone else's life miserable, but I guess it could be possible. The relationship between Abby, Sam and Jack is great, and her getting over her fear of causing another scandal (by being in a polyamorous relationship is realistic. This book is good, but it's not Sophie Oak/Lexi Blake's best work.

Sophie Oak has become a new favorite erotic author of mine with Small Town Siren. It is by far one of the best ménage romance novels I have ever read. The amazing characters, interesting plot and erotic scenes, made it a phenomenal read.
In this book we meet Abigail More, who left town twenty years ago pregnant and alone after she was forced out by Willow Fork's most influential family. She survived and made a decent life for herself and her daughter. Now she's back and she's ready to do some living for herself. She just wasn't expecting to have two hot cowboys help her do it.
Then there are Jack Barnes and Sam Fleetwood—they share everything. They share a house, a business, and they want to share a wife. When they meet Abigail, they are sure that they found the woman to spend the rest of their lives with, but they are not sure that she would be agreeable to that, especially with the scandal that she faced twenty years ago. When they find out she feels the same way about them, they think that everything is perfect. However, someone's not happy that she's back in town and will stop at nothing to drive her out again.
Oh. My. Goodness. This book was so unbelievable. I absolutely could not put it down. These characters are so real. They are scarred and flawed and really just trying to find some happiness in the world. I felt like I could see people from my life in each and every one of them. The love between Abigail, Sam and Jack was so strong that it made my heart ache. Don't even get me started on the love scenes. They were so steamy that I really thought I would melt my Kindle. There were a couple of times when I looked in the mirror just to see if I was actually as flushed as I felt. Jack, the oh-so-sexy dominant, was so delicious that I know I had to have been drooling more than once.
I also felt that the author did an amazing job of capturing small-town living. I in no way believe that all small towns are like Willow Fork, but I do feel that the town that was created was very tangible. The dialogue was at times funny, other times sweet, but it was always very believable. The plot was well-timed, very developed and interesting.
I think that I could go on and on about this book, but ultimately I wouldn't do it justice. I loved it, there's not much more that I could say other than that. It's a definite re-read (and re-read again).

Twenty years ago Abby got pregnant. Her boyfriend Adam died in a car accident. He was alone driving drunk. Adam’s mother blamed Abby. She was the richest lady in town, and she drove Abby away by pressuring stores and restaurants to refuse service to Abby. Abby’s mother recently was injured, and Abby returned to town to care for her for a few weeks. Sam and Jack live together on a cattle ranch. They like to share women. Sam accidentally discovers a box of erotic books showing group sex. The box belongs to Abby. He tells Jack. They were attracted to Abby but were unsure if she would accept sex with two men. Now they know, and they begin to seduce her.
REVIEWER’S OPINION:
This was pretty good for the seduction and sex. The sex scenes include bondage, spanking, whipping, rear door activity, group sex, and two men kissing. The story was pretty good as well. The rich lady provides some conflict. At one point Abby decides to leave the men “for their own good” without discussing it with them which was a minor irritation – an overused romance novel device. But the purpose of the book is erotic seduction and sex, not to develop the best plot.
The characters are good. Jack is dark-haired, brooding, and dominant. Sam is blond, charming, and out-going. Abby is so gorgeous that the high school boys flock to her to do things for her. From early on Jack and Sam let Abby know she is the only one for them. They want to support her, protect her, and take care of her forever. Abby is 37, and the guys are 32.
One minor publishing complaint. There are several sections in my Kindle version that have highlighting marks. It was distracting.

This review is going to be filled with a lot of baby words like "awesome, amazing, great fabulous, love, hot, sexy, steamy, erotic, mild bdsm, sweet, endearing, wonderful"... because my mind is blown away and has ceased higher function.
This story was flipping awesome!! I'm sad that it is over. Abby was the perfect female role, sweet & endearing, submissive but tough. Jack and Sam were the perfect compliments to eachother. Sam, was charming, playful, and sexy as all get out. Jack... Jack, Jack, Jack...DAMN that man is HAWT!! The most perfect combination of sexy, strong, dominant, tortured, nurturing man. Clearly this was a work of fiction, because no real man could be as freaking wonderful as Jack Barnes (can you tell I fell in love?).
Some menage books are trite and silly and have sex just for the sake of sex. This story is at the total opposite end of the spectrum. It made their relationship seem not only plausible, but (at the risk of sounding cheesy) like the sweetest gift, with an unbreakable bond between lovers.
This was my first Sophie Oak book but it won't be the last. I'm already planning to re-read it and with my enormous TBR list that is the highest praise I can give an author. In short, if you like erotic w/menage and an awesome story line...READ THIS!!!!

Love Jack and Sam. Good story, nice pace, excellent build up of romance.
Sam and Jack are some great characters. Perfect for this story.
Adam's mom... two words, evil bitch.
I never want to live in a small town, unless there is Sam and Jack. LOL.
Vandalism with maxi-pads, great idea! I love it when she said "he cubed my car". Good humor in this one, and great emotion.
The end surprised me a bit. More exactly, the part with Adam's mom. I didn't see that coming, but it was needed. The end end was perfect. Love the "Moms Gone Wild" bit.

I liked the overall story. Abby was a bit indecisive and was willing to listen to a mean, old lady, but she saw the light. Sam and Jack are perfect, they each represent a side of the men we all want. Sam was the sweet sensitive one, while Jack was the strong, silent, broody one :D
I -1*, because all of it was happening too fast, even for Romancelandia. They met a month ago, they kind of start courting her for a week or so, and then they ask her to move with them and marry. I mean what?? I understand chemistry and stuff, but how about some talking and maybe living together? In the end, I'm happy it worked for them :)

An quick sexy read in typical Sophie Oak fashion.
I'm not normally a fan of insta-love (5 weeks from go to marriage) but I also know it can happen when you find the 'one' or 'two' as was in this case.
The book is tagged MMF and which lead me to believe there would be some guy on guy action, but that was not the case. There was no doubting their attraction to each other though and we did get to see them
The Mfm scenes were delicious ;)

The book is tagged MMF and which lead me to believe there would be some guy on guy action, but that was not the case. There was no doubting their attraction to each other though and we did get to see them
The Mfm scenes were delicious ;)
I liked how they eased Abby into being able to take both of them, and she wasn't just an instant DP queen.

I started this series on a recommendation from Asma. I'm so glad I did! I've read all four books in the series in less than a week.
I love that there's an actual storyline to follow. It's not just one smut scene after another. The characters are great! They'll make you laugh and make you cry. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.

Sophie Oak always manages to take a erotic story and somehow make it better than all the other authors do. Her characters seem more normal, real and things don't quite seem so outrageous. I enjoyed this first book in the siren series. I have read her bliss series and loved them, looks like I will enjoy this series too.

3.5 stars rounded to 4. A sweet menage romance. The plot was interesting and kept things moving and the sex scenes were nicely done. I especially liked how well the characters were fleshed out. Overall an enjoyable read

While alternative romance may not be everybody’s cup of tea, if you’re of ‘the more the merrier’ mindset, SIREN IN THE CITY by author Lexi Blake should definitely be on your radar. Lexi can write a ‘better when there are more’ story like nobody’s business, and Abby, Sam, and Jack and their love story make for a read that’s hard to put down.
It’s got to be difficult to craft this kind of story so well, to make the reader fall equally in love with every character, but Lexi makes it look so very easy. The story unfolds effortlessly and drew me in, so that I couldn’t wait to see where things were going.
I’d be hard-pressed to choose between Jack and Sam myself, but, luckily, we don’t have to, because they are, after all, a package deal. I loved seeing the way that they take care of Abby, the way that they support each other, and the way that they have overcome bad beginnings to be the kickbutt men that they are.
Being a woman of a certain age, seeing Abby get her turn at happiness makes me happy. The woman that left Willow Fork as a scared young girl has returned an accomplished, self-assured woman that can hold her head high in a town full of people that would continue to bring her down. We need more Abbys for sure, and I will happily read about them all.
SMALL TOWN SIREN is a solid 4-star read for me, and one that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to romance fans that are willing to step outside the box a bit. It’s nice to see the return of this series from Lexi, and I look forward to reading more about these characters.
