My little boy and I picked this book out from a bookstore in Peru. We promptly forgot it in a restaurant and ordered another one to be delivered to our home. He loves it! It's not a little kids' book - definitely a little above his age - but I just skim over sections that are too not interesting to a 5-year old. Still, I've read every part of this little book to him at least once. We both think the facts and pictures are great.
I'd recommend it to other families who are planning to visit Machu Picchu or who want to learn about Peru. :-)
