I thought that this was a very good book about how our education system needs to change its way of thinking. In order to help students be prepared for their future, we need to stop teaching them to be able to compete in our past. While I agreed with much of the information in the book, I was ready for the next steps; the practical steps about how a classroom teacher can start the change now. There are some great thoughts in here about sweeping changes that need to happen, but those happen slowly. I will be looking for another book in this series dealing with my next steps.
