Recommends it for: anyone who wants to live in a safer, more friendly, and more sustainable neighborhood

This book is a good introduction to the concept of cohousing, that is, a neighborhood in which residents work together and share large common spaces (as well as common dinners) in order to foster a greater sense of community. Consolidates 30 years of experience designing and building cohousing into one readable book. This book actually makes it seem do-able, and I hope it is!
