As a kid, I was really into insects, and this was one those books that fueled my curiosities on creepy crawlies. Though it's an old book, most of the information still do hold up, with the exception that some new discoveries have made minor details a little outdated. Still, this book presents many facts in a simple and easy to grasp manner for children and provides wonderful cartoony & life-like illustrations of some of the insects you can find in your own backyard. Surely any kids who love bugs will get a kick out of this!
