The title of this mystery novel will have many readers nodding in empathetic understanding. When a family's survival is undermined by a reduction in pay, can murder be far behind? In most cases, no, but that wouldn't make much of a murder mystery.

An intriguing mystery with an original hook that I haven't seen in any other novels - that of a travel agency. The setting is realistic and the book has a likable main character in Prudence. Anyone who has dealt with company layoffs and reshuffling will identify with the downsizing aspect of the novel. A great read. I'll look for more from this author.

Fabulous, but then I wrote it.
I liked the realistic setting and strong female protagonist.
