More of a 2.5- enjoyable but not well written. I love NPS handbooks, but this one was a little off. Things and events are listed out of order at times so that the best or more exciting story is first, and the pictures seem randomly placed often enough to become distracting. The writing isn't the best, but the content is excellent, and the pictures, despite their placement, are good. I read it after a recent visit to Independence Hall, but it would work better as a pre-visit read.
