I found this to be a very helpful guide for both the beginning and advanced sewer, although I would not yet classify myself as advanced so maybe this is untrue. I came across many techniques that, had I read earlier, would have saved me the trouble of ripping countless seams and the aggravation of not understanding certain terms. I recommend this book to beginning sewers to get an idea of where you can go with sewing and also for some basic tips. I may return to this once I move on in my skill and want to try some of the more advanced techniques.
