Fascinating view of Vienna in the twenties - just about the time my
Father left for America. Views of the "upper crust" and artistic community. The author apparently did not notice or include the social upheaval of the time. Pleasant intro to designer Josef Hoffman.

I mostly enjoyed the parts about Hofmmann and life in Vienna at the turn of the century. However, I would have liked to read more about the Wiener Werkstatte as I feel this topic was not written much in detail. Still, a pleasant read.
