Format: Ranks leaders from 1 to 100 with 81 men and 21 women of African American descent. The leaders come from various time periods. This has a total of 320 pages.
Arrangement and Presentation: Leaders are ranked from 1 to 100 with no scientific means of ranking the leaders.
Diversity: While the publisher is not well-known, at least through Internet search means, this is a great tool for teachers to use in researching African American leaders and a starting point, especially if they wanted to teach about these leaders during a month like “Black History Month.”
