Sách được bắt đầu với những minh họa cụ thể về những dự án tốt, cùng các phân tích tỉ mỉ về các vận hành PBL trong từng dự án đó. Tiếp đó, các tác giả hướng dẫn từng khía cạnh thực tiễn của phương pháp PBL: làm sao để phát triển ý tưởng, thiết kế dự án thế nào, vận hành và quản lí dự án ra sao, đánh giá và rút kinh nghiệm từ dự án như thế nào. Phần cuối cuốn sách chứa đựng hàng loạt công cụ, biểu mẫu, rubrics có thể sử dụng ngay được cho người mới "mò mẫm" vào PBL.
Sách mỏng, chỉ hơn trăm trang, đúng tính chất của StarterKit. Một giáo viên chỉ cần đọc cuốn này là có thể bắt tay vào làm PBL ngay.

This was a concise, easy-to-read guide on setting up Project-Based-Learning in a classroom. The biggest shifts are cultural, in allowing students choice and voice in content, as well as autonomy within a structured process. I am excited to plan and execute a collaborative project--this guide and the Buck Institute have made PBL "doable" as a part or whole approach to engaging, authentic, and real-world learning. >^..^<

Read it tonight because I am out of library books for the weekend. :( relieved to know it matches the advice I frequently give classroom teachers on pbl...nice to be reassured that I'm not totally off the mark! This book started out as a professional development book study during the summer. Once I started the book, I wanted to own it as a class resource. A great read and book to incorporate into as a class resource. I don't say this often about professional development texts; this inspired me.
