This book is very outdated; it recommends listening to authors on cassette tapes - it was published in 2005. The author is overly impressed with himself and his accomplishments and offers empty platitudes most likely culled from other, better educator books. If a teachers, particularly a new teacher, tried to follow all of his advice, he/she would not have enough time to teach! Learn magic tricks? Really?
