About the author

Melody Carlson is the award-winning author of over two hundred books, several of them Christmas novellas from Revell, including her much-loved and bestselling book, The Christmas Bus.

She also writes many teen books, including the Diary of a Teenage Girl series, the TrueColors series, and the Carter House Girls series.

Melody was nominated for a Romantic Times Career Achievement Award in the inspirational market for her books, including the Notes from a Spinning Planet series and Finding Alice, which is in production as a Lifetime Television movie. She and her husband serve on the Young Life adult committee in central Oregon.

I have never read Melody Carlson and picked this novel up at a thrift store. I loved her writing and the stories were heartwarming. Better yet there was nothing cheesy or unrealistic about them. I also love how she incorporated her faith and a relationship with God into her storytelling. My favorite short story might be Angels in the Snow, the third part of this book. I would absolutely read more books by this author. If you are in the mood for some good feels and Christmas spirit, this is a perfect book.

Such a lovely collection of heart felt Christmas stories! This is the first time for me reading Melody Carlson, she is a very good writer and well developed characters. It was so good to read clean language and the Christian morals. Found this book at a yard sale and because it was Christmas themed, I bought it. Will pass along to family and friends for a wonderful read during the holidays. I am now a fan of Melody Carlson. Thank you for bringing some Christmas Spirit to this old lady!!!

This book is really 3 books in one: The Christmas Bus (137 pages) The gift of Chrsitmas Present (149 pages), and Angels in the Snow ( 120 pages.) They are delightful and contain romance, some tough times and likeable characters. They are also well written and fun to read. They were all page turners for me and will give you Christmas spirit for sure. A clean read for all of them.

A gift from my brother, this is a wonderful & refreshing author. I'll be searching for more of her books. The three stories in this one book are like watching three Hallmark Christmas stories on tv. Loved this.
