Bewitchments: Love Magick for Modern Romance

Rate this book
Chalice deep as a wishing well,
Our spirits blend as I chant my spell;
Love does come to fill our hearts,
By this spell the magick starts.
These words are recited during a spell that has a simple "To fill that empty spot inside you that feels only loneliness without the fullness of new love." You can learn how to do spells like this, along with other magical methods for everything surrounding love, in Edain McCoy's beautiful book, Bewitchments .
If you don't have love in your life, you know you need it. There are lots of spells to bring that "certain someone" into your life! Once you have a romance going, you want to make it stronger and prevent anything (or anyone) from breaking it up. You'll find magical techniques to make sure your beloved thinks only of you and becomes disinterested in any potential rival. And finally, as you probably know, sometimes relationships need to end but drag on for a long time.
"Gather a handful of dried pumpkin seeds and take them outside to an area where you can bury them unseen and where they will remain undisturbed. Sit on the ground and, in front of you, dig a small hole. Begin to visualize the unwanted lover moving further and further away from you. As you do this, take a single pumpkin seed and bite down on it, then toss it into the hole. When you've gone through all the seeds, your mind's eye should see your life without the undesired person in it."
You will find divinations, incenses, oils, talismans, rituals, and spells that will put you in charge of your love life. They range from simple to complex, but you will find that you can do them all. If your love life needs some pep, this is the book for you.

As a born and raised pagan who then discovered witchcraft & wicca about 25 years ago, not too often I am impressed with spellbooks (much rather use my own). BUT, this book has some real potent gems in it. Loved the glamour spell, don't expect results like in the movie The Craft lol But I've used glamour spells for over 20 years for different circumstances....if I wanted to blend in and not be noticed or conversely if I wanted to be noticed/stand out from a crowd (great for job interviews!). Glamour magick just isn't about 'looking' more beautiful, it can be used for concealment too. The Tell Me The Truth spell worked like an absolute charm (pun intended) - just keep in mind, sometimes the truth hurts but it is what you asked for ;)

Wish it had more that could be used for couples, like spells to get their spark back and just in general spice things. Fidelity spells could have been a good addition as well.
