Shazam!

The art style and content were great to read with kids. My son and I really enjoyed the Shazam movie, so this comic was a good starting point for him in the universe. I love the story behind the Marvel family and look forward to reading more of the Shazam comics in the future.

A solid collection of Captain Marvel stories for all ages. The stories are childish and fun and the art looks great even though it changes throughout the collection.
I would recommend it to Captain Marvel fans and younger audiences in general.

Again, I liked the Mike Krunkel art from the first volume, but this next volume is all over the place in terms of style. The art started out looking like Sergio Arragones and then toward the end changed to look more like Jeff Smith's style. The stories are all-ages fine, but because the art changed I'm looking forward to when Mike Norton's work gets collected.

What a weird start to this series. You've got the bright and bubbly art coupled with a pretty dark story. I'm going to stick with it, but this isn't a great start.
