Applying scientifically researched and field-tested principles of sport psychology, Smart Golf presents state-of-the-art techniques for focus, relaxation, self-regulation, anxiety and stress management, and performance enhancement.
Bought this as a joke, it was a used book, and thought it might be like the book, "Everything Men Understand About Women". But, No! It is a serious book, about how to handle the mental aspect of golf. It has some good information on how to focus on the game without being obsessive. Have I ever been upset when hitting a bad shot? (Assuming I actually hit bad shots. Heh, heh, heh.) Has that affected the next shot? The next hole? I think following the planning and preparation, positive focus, reacting, and applying the steps for improving my attitude about the game will bring more enjoyment to the game I love. looking forward to trying the recommendations.
