An excellent guide to basic seed saving information. It includes just enough botany to get you through the process with an accurate understand of what you're doing. Then it moves on to specific varieties of vegetables and flowers as grouped by plant families.

This book has been used as a reference all summer this year. I saved seeds from one of my heirloom tomatoes, but the other didn't do as well in my garden so I didn't save.

Lots of good info; straightforward and direct, with no fluff. Better as a reference while you're in the midst of the task, since there are in-depth plant lists, with specific harvesting info.
