Eerie Edinburgh

Coasted over the top of Auld Reekies spookiest. I could tell you a few weird tales of Edinburgh too. I was raised there, it’s my home town. My homes were haunted by previous owners. Friends lived in Old and New Town houses that had the odd “quirk” that was just accepted as part of the building.
My bedroom in the New Town had a ghost that would breathe heavily at night. Like someone with a chest infection or pneumonia. Poor thing. I used to ask it to stop so I could sleep. Our staircase was pitch dark, dim even with lights. You would switch lights off, only to have them switch back on. Bizarre. Then again, it could have been old wiring… but never on to off.
Good read.

I loved this book. I remember walking around Arthur’s seat and noticing a strange dark figure he had a monk beside him and they were both digging away at the ground they instantly disappeared into thin air. I also remember seeing smoke from the tops of the hill like I was seeing into another world. I can’t go back to Arthur’s seat now as I feel a strong presence. This book has really interested me and I know believe there is a lot more to life than we think

Read this way cool book in less than 24 hours !
I knew that Edinburgh has ghosts and other paranormal things but never knew about it's vampires and magical sites as well as it's connections to Ancient Egypt. Overall a very interesting and thought-provoking book. One that has made an impact on how I view my birth city from now on.
