This was a great book as an introduction to IOS development. The hour-by-hour approach - with each "hour" containing full projects that you build from scratch - was a great way to cover the material while providing the repetition necessary to make things 'sink in.'

One caveat, though...I have a fairly decent C/C++ background, so picking up the Objective C components was fairly straightforward for me.
