How did I not know about the existence of this glorious work of art?! I mean, look at the title!

But no, seriously, how do people come up with such titles?! *rolls eyes*

I previously hadn't even bothered to rate/review this book.
However, I am tired of seeing recommendations of similar books from GoodReads on my newsfeed, which I have no intention whatsoever of ever picking up.
So, that's that.

The time I wasted reading this book is I am never going to get back!!!
There is NO LOGIC AT ALL!! I wish we had some good writers in India. That’s it I am never going to read another book by Durjoy Datta.

My feelings towards this book is more than pain. Its really irritating to read a book, from which you are expecting wonders, only to find yourself utterly disappointed.

As the name suggests, this book is about the modern Love Stories, supposedly, happening throughout the teenage populace of India. It tells us about a suspicious lad, taking frequent doubts on his girlfriend.

The thing i like about this book is

Nothing. It fails to convey the message its supposed to, it does not give you a satisfying

No semblance of sense in any of the pages. Wish we had meaningful books published by Indian authors. Its a shame that publishing houses cannot distinguish the good and worthy books from the rest.

One of the finest novels I ever read. This book contains everyone's favorite stuff, which most resists to accept, few feels disgusting about it..It is about and sex.. this is as gripping...So I will say I liked. With mystery in every page...twist in every line,,after the book is good...Hundred times better than Chetan Bhagat. The ending is really unpredictable and I wholeheartedly appreciate the author at least for giving a different story with boredom of sentiments and masala mix.. yet ...more

I think Indian fiction is more of a business now. Every Indian Fiction author/writer keeps a catchy tag line (popularly known as book names) and same old story concept. Not a great fan of Indian Fiction anymore. Sorry, but if you want 5 stars, write something which has never been written before. All of Durjoy's stories/novels follow somewhat the same concept. It's basically for those who have no choice of books. ...more

This book, oh my God!! Such a horrible book. The worst book I have ever read till date. Totally sucked and some of the parts were awfully boring. Like seriously? How can someone lie to his/her partner? Who tests anyone like that? Deb and Avantika were two such people who were madly in love with each other. Then Deb kissed a girl, Malini and Avantika broke all contacts with him for God-knows-how-many days or rather months. Durjoy Datta likes to concentrate on tragedies and sad feelings rather tha ...more

The book is literally rubbish. It only deals with love confused as lust! Deb and Avantika lead their relationship overpowered by sex, drinking and other stuffs. The only moral we get at the end of the book is 'Lust has nothing to do with love.' Total rubbish! ...more

Book Review

“Have you read Durjoy?” my friend asked me one day.

“No,” I said “I haven’t. What is so exceptional in his books?” I shrugged.

“He is an awesome author of romance genre and very popular among youth,” he tried to prove his opinion.

“Yes, I have also heard about Durjoy, b

This was my first book from the author and i had some high expectation seeing the title but sadly it was not the book for me.

It was good in the beginning but got boring and predictable midway and after a while i just did not care what happened next anymore. Its basically the guy meets the girl and then they fall in love and decide to stay together for the rest of their lives against all odds until the guy gets drunk and kisses some other girl twice and this marks the turning or should I say break

One more by the way of Durjoy Dutta and it was just nice not too funny or interesting. I have all the books by Durjoy and soon I would read remaining books too.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is,

expected a lot better..its somehow makes me feel there is nothing like true love..its all about hurting girls because only they have true feelings..guys out there only can take advantages of girls who love them..story is not properly narrated..there is a lot which seemed missing and ending is so not up to the mark.. :(

One more useless book from an Indian author who just tried to be another stupid Chhedan Batakh. I was told he is best in writing Novels based on love n relationship and thankfully I found how worse he is and where Indian readers are heading. I had stopped books of CB, SG, SP and will include DD.

Its better to read Hindi novels than wasting time and money on these writers.

One sensible indian fiction I would say. This book talks about what are the current trends in the youth and tells us about how fickle-minded men are.
It also talks about how those in relationship take each other casually. A decent book for leisure reading.

The third in his novella, the author maintained his tempo of being one of the most sought after writers by the young.

Storyline: Avantika, a name very familiar with Debashish Roy, a management student at MDI, Delhi. Deb, a not so good looking guy gets hooked to a very beautiful, sexy and angelic Avantika, who loves him to her core, after she recovers from her tragic history of drug addiction. Though she is disowned by her family, Avantika gets into a passionate relationship with Deb, a fatso and
