Hello, Virginia!

Rate this book
What’s up in Virginia? Fast thoroughbred horses, slow wagons at Colonial Williamsburg, tall ships at historic Jamestown, and much more.  Spend a very special Virginia day with a little girl as she covers the state from dawn to dusk, ending as the moon rises over the gently rolling Blue Ridge Mountains.

This is the best book of its kind I've found so far about Virginia. MUCH better than "Good night, Virginia."

My daughter loves this book, has since about six months old when we bought it. she is fourteen months at the time of the review, and she still loves it. We have never been to Virginia and I can't say how much she understands of the words and pictures but she loves picking this book out to read. We have a similar AZ book that she has no interest in. The illustrations are bright and remind me of watercolors and colored pencils, (disclaimer) although I have no experience or expertise in art. Very few words so the pages go quick, but there are ways of expanding on the pictures should you choose.
