When Ellie names her puppy Rascal, she doesn't realize how right she is! Rascal's naughtiness is annoying everyone, and Ellie's big sister thinks they ought to send him back! Ellie's parents decide that what Rascal needs is dog-training classes. Ellie thinks this is a brilliant plan. But wherever Rascal goes, trouble is never far behind...From best-selling author Holly Webb comes the second book in her hugely successful My Naughty Little Puppy series.
Holly Webb is one of Britain's best-loved children's writers. She has written over a hundred books for children, and her work has been translated into over thirty languages. Holly lives in Tilehurst, just outside of Reading, Berkshire, with her husband, three children and several cats.
In this book we see how Rascal gets taken for his puppy training classes after some really terrible incidents occur only as progress seems to not be happening, will this be the end for their new family member or can they turn his behaviour around?
I liked how the book focuses on the reality that a puppy isn't going to be on their best behaviour and that teaching them is hard too. I liked the ups and downs of the book as it made it more relatable and can guide kids in how to help their pets too.
When Ellie names the new puppy, Rascal, she doesn't realize how naughty Rascal is. But when they register dog training they let Rascal join the family since he won first price in the dog training competition!
This book was fun and I enjoyed it way more than the first one. I'm a bit sad that the other books in this series didn't get released in my main language... oh well
