I am really picky about travel books: I want a book packed with details that describe sites in such a way that I know if I would really want to go there or not, and know how to get the most out of a particular site. I want to know what's cheap and what's expensive, and what's worth the expense or the time to get to to see. I am loving this book about Britain. The best thing about books from Lonely Planet, is that they always start off with a bit of history. I've read a lot of travel books, and I always prefer the Lonely Planets books to any other. Now that I've read both the book on Britain and the book on USA, I've gotta choose where my vacation will go this year. It's either going to be a 4 week roadtrip in GB or 4 week roadrip in USA. Choices, choices, choices...
