This gorgeous guide to making anyone's eyes look even more beautiful is a must-have book for every woman's bookshelf or dressing table.
If you have Makeup: The Ultimate Guide, DO NOT buy this book. They've literally just plucked the eye looks from there and passed it off as a new book all about eye makeup. If I had bothered to do some research beforehand I would've figured that out and saved myself $20-something, but I didn't. Unfortunately I'd assumed it was an entirely new book focusing solely on the eyes, and now I've got an utterly pointless book sitting on my bedside table.
I can't even suggest it as a nice gift - you'd be better off shelling out AUD$20 more and getting the Ultimate Guide. The Ultimate Guide provides way more bang for your buck.
It seems more suitable for evening and really bold looks. It does have some key pointers though, although I wouldn't necessarily need this book to reference on a recurring basis.
The one good thing however, is that it does have quite detailed instructions in how to achieve the looks portrayed. I would like it if there was more references to the specific type of eye colours and skin tones.
