I appreciated this extremely comprehensive and contemporary approach to management. This dense text informs the reader about management principles, its vast history and its purpose for our technological and innovative world. I especially liked all of the specific and applicable examples of current sustainable businesses given throughout. This book left me feeling inspired and less disgusted with organizational and corporate strategies. There is hope! Understanding the different styles of management and the need for decentralized decision making are the two most important take aways for me. My favorite chapters were about leadership, ethics and communication.
