The trouble with this book is that it doesn't give any specifics about on/off or fuzzy logic rice cookers. They're pretty different, so that's important.

There also is less information about the diversity of rice and grains that you can cook than I've seen in other rice cooker cookbooks.

Not saying this book is without value, but the two other rice cooker cookbooks I've used or looked through--"The Ultimate Rice Cooker Cookbook" and "300 Best Rice Cooker Recipes"--were much better.

Surprising. TBH I have never thought about using a rice cooker to fry food. I look forward to trying the black rice pudding recipe.
