This stylish and simple guide shows how to create colourful, original designs, and it includes over 80 step-by-step photographs and a selection of stunning finished pieces.
This is a solid start for someone who is at the beginning of their mosaic journey. It has simple ideas and patterns for you to practice that give you all the basic skills and understanding you need to get going on your own projects.
This is not exhaustive by any means and does not go into any depth or real detail about technique, material or equipment so you will need to read further if you wish to truly get to grips with this style of crafting.
This is a good start if you want to learn how to mosaic but the book is so slim (48 pages), it doesn't offer nearly as much information as plenty other beginner books. It particularly lacks information on the aesthetically different way of applying the tiles. This greatly affects how a piece looks, introducing movement to a work where it would otherwise be very static.
