a polemic against narcotics prohibition. best bit is the history of the legal components of prohibition, going back to 1914 or so. kinda nifty, the twists and turns. origins of the war on drugs are inauspicious.

Very enlightening but a bit dated. Much of what I read still applies but the statistics are from almost a decade ago. The argument for rethinking our war on drugs was very well presented.
