An Imaginative addition to my Harry Potter mania collection...
I never had a Pop-up book before...since Kindergarten it was a Library taboo...an Untouchable books. only read with teacher to flip the pages :(

When I'm older I didn't have a chance to buy one, I felt it'd be so childish - and yeah I still buy Mickey and Donald magazines weekly-
Then there was Harry Potter -and amazing Amazon offer :)-

الكتاب نفسه غاية في الابداع , الصفحات لها "ميكانيكا" في فتح العالم السحري لهاري بوتر بشكل ممتاز فعلا

وكمان في مفاجأت مخفية في اللوحات الستة اللي في الكتاب

This one was really creative.. the "mechanism" of the book is really creative and smooth in the opening the pages...the 6
ِAlso the hidden "Easter Eggs" was nice :)


I simply loved it..

Oh and I must buy for my kids -when I have kids :)- pop up books when they're young ..it's really fun and I'd hate to suffer longing to flip pages of wonder..
Oh, it may be 2020 already , they may have i-pop-up-book with glasses and all..:)

Incredible fold outs. There is Diagon Alley, there is Hogwarts and even the Cemetery scene from Goblet of fire. Each page has a massive foldout that is intricate and mind blowing with then little windows and pull-outs 2-3 a page like Hedwig in his cage. The paper engineering is incredible. The world pops to life.

This was a fun book and the kids read the 1st book with their parents this year so they knew the characters. The nephew loved this pop-up and he spent an good 20 minutes being still with me just looking at the pop-ups. He gave it 5 stars.

Do I even need to explain why I gave this a 5 stars. Okay I'll tell you why it's Harry Potter that's why!
My bestie bought this pop up book for me when he went to a vacation to London, which I'm so grateful for. Thank you so much!
I loved everything about this pop up book!
Mostly I loved the pop up pictures there will all beautiful and it reminded me of the movie scenes in the movies, which is always magical to remember!
Now I have a more depth idea of how the movies were created and how they made the props and how they shot the scenes.
I loved the poster where you can hang them in your room. But I don't have a place to hang them! Which sucks!
I definitely loved that there were secrets in the pages where you open and see more pop up pictures and more information about the movies!
Overall I loved loved this book and I love you Harry Potter! And love you bestie for everything! Harry Potter will always stay in my heart no matter how old I am!
I solemnly swear I'm up to no good!

gorgeous book. you won't find any new facts or trivia if you've already read harry potter: film wizardry or harry potter page to screen: the complete filmmaking journey but the pop-ups are beautifully done. i now understand what they mean by "paper engineer". the pop-ups are so intricate and the scene literally unfolds before your eyes. definitely a must-have for harry potter collectors.

Ini buku yang saya beli dan paling membuat saya bahagia di tahun 2017 (saya banyak membeli buku yang membahagiakan di tahun 2017 ini, tetapi buku ini adalah peringkat nomor 1 nya). Hal-hal yang membuat saya bahagia adalah karena:
1. Buku pop-up ini bagus sekali, detailnya cukup rumit sehingga setiap kita buka halaman demi halaman kita akan sibuk ber-wow-wow ria.
2. Saya membeli buku ini dengan harga yang luar biasa menyenangkan. Saya lupa persisnya mengapa, kalau saya tidak salah karena saya membelinya saat harga promo, saya hanya perlu membayar sebesar 270 ribu (masih bisa saya terima karena walaupun hanya beberapa halaman, tetapi ini pop-up book), dan ternyata sekarang sudah kembali ke harga aslinya sebesar 470 ribu (harga yang belum bisa saya terima walaupun untuk buku pop-up sebaik ini, harga ini saya lihat beberapa hari yang lalu (4 Juni 2017), dan sekarang di website Periplus sudah mencapai 495 ribu (haaaaaaah mahal sekaliiiiiii!!) --> http://www.periplus.com/p/97816088700...

itulah mengapa saya senang sekali dengan buku ini, bahkan kata kak Akhyar: buku ini semacam buku yang bahkan tidak akan ku pinjamkan, bahkan ke anak sendiri (kurang lebih begitulah haha) --> sebagai tanda bahwa buku ini segera melesat menjadi buku kesayangan.

A colleague had this book and brought it in for me to use during my current Harry Potter unit with my students. I was blown away! This is one of the best pop-up books I have ever experienced. My students loved it as well. The book is well crafted, with great snippets of information and tons to explore. It is a visually stunning book.

This is the best pop-up book I've ever seen. Not because it's Harry Potter, but because the pop-ups have pictures on almost every visible part of them! You can look through doors and around corners and up streets, and then you can turn the book around and do the same thing on the back. It's really great.

In diesem 16 Seiten starken Buch bekommt man je Doppelseite eine Umgebung oder eine Filmszene in Form eines Pop-Ups zu sehen. Auf jedem Bild gibt es viele Kleinigkeiten zu entdecken. Außerdem erfährt man zu jeder Szene Hintergrundinfos zur Entstehung im Film oder zu den Gedanken von J.K.Rowling. Es gibt auf jeder Seite auch Dinge zum Aufklappen oder heraus nehmen was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Man besucht im Buch die Winkelgasse und Hogwarts und erfährt etwas über Dunkle Künste und magische Wesen. Das Buch wird wahrscheinlich allein aufgrund des besonderen Formats nicht bei mir ausziehen. Es ist aber nicht für jüngere Leser geeignet weil es viele Kleinigkeiten hat die leicht kaputt gehen können.
Wenn man ein außergewöhnliches Buch zu den Harry Potter Filmen möchte kann man sich das Buch auf alle Fälle anschauen. Ob man tatsächlich bereit ist den vollen Preis dafür zu zahlen muss aber jeder für sich entscheiden.

Ich habe ja bei jedem Pop Up ein bisschen gequietscht, weil es so cool ist. Man muss ein wenig vorsichtig sein, damit auch alles heile bleibt, aber es ist wirklich sehr, sehr niedlich.

Auf jeden Fall auf englisch kaufen. Ist 24€ günstiger als die deutsche Version und es gibt auch wenig zu lesen. Die Texte stehen hier ja auch nicht im Vordergrund ;)

Es sind aber halt auch nur 12 Seiten. Also ein kurzes Vergnügen ;)

OH MY GOD! This books is so f**king Gorgeous and Cuteness overload! Ahhh i feel like i have 3D Miniature Hogwarts School Witchcraft and wizardry! I also travelling around forbidden forest, diagon alley etc. There are three bonus posters such as an "Undesirable #1" poster, a Ministry of Magic poster, and one of Hogwarts and the grounds). I remember i wanna bought the Paperback edition but somehow i change my mind and turn my options into Hardback edition since i think it will be purrfect for 3D Pop up books and it also will make stable for the ground/fondation is.

It is definitely must-have-items for Harry Potters Collectors! LOVE LOVE LOVE SO MUCH!

*Now i'm waiting for my Gorgeous My Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban's illustrated edition! I can't wait for this October 2017! >__< Aaak!

Beli pas ada promo di periplus. Secara konten, isinya kurang lebih mengenai fakta-fakta yang ada di Harry Potter buku dan filmnya. Seperti rekap film HP yang pertama hingga terakhir. Berbeda dengan, misal, pop-up book nya Little Prince yang memang mengikuti alur cerita novela orisinalnya.

Yang pasti paper engineering nya keren bingits. Must-have book for HP fans :D

This book is super cheesey, but I had to get it. The pop-ups are really cool, but there wasn't a ton to read or really any information that was new. The best part were the 3 posters it came with(an "Undesirable #1" poster, a Ministry of Magic poster, and one of Hogwarts and the grounds).

The pop up art is def not the best, I mean I own a pop up book by Robert Sabuda which is just some next level shit and in comparison this pop up book really isn't that good because a lot of the times the scenery is just flat out printed on the paper and remains 2D. I ended up unhauling this book again. Would not recommend.

De más está decir que amo los libros pop-up y este en particular me pareció demasiado hermoso. No solo las imágenes están perfectamente diseñadas y armadas para lograr ese efecto “wow” apenas las ves, si no que suma muchísimo que tenga descripciones y datos no conocidos sobre las películas y la forma en que fue hecha cada criatura, cada escenografía y cada escena mostrada en este libro.
¡Realmente lo recomiendo para los que aman coleccionar merch de Harry Potter, es perfecto! Y también para los amantes de los libros pop-up, por supuesto.

Any Harry Potter fan will Marvel at the intricately designed pop ups in this book and the attention to detail certainly doesn't fall short here. Filled with key locations from the films you get to explore the grounds of Hogwarts, Little Hangleton Graveyard and Diagonal Alley to name but a few.

Each page has a tidbit of information and the book comes with a few extra pieces of Harry Potter paraphernalia including Ron Weasley's infamous howler and an Undesirable No. 1 poster encased in a Ministry of Magic envelope. A treat for any fan of the series.

"Amazing" is the word for this. Total 5 pop up that include diagon alley, hogwarts, hagrid hut/Forbidden forest, Triwizard cup & Quidditch pitch and graveyard. First page is non pop-up dubledore's office but this has ministry of magic envelop which includes 3 poster, apart from this there is a howler nice pop card in this page. Overall detailing is very good and it looks very real. the size is quite big for good detailing. overall a must have product for all the potterheads
