Tällainen kuvakirja on mennyt meidän perheellä aivan ohi, mutta onneksi tämä viimein pomppasi näkyviin kirjaston hyllystä. Varsin hauska kuvitus ja tarina oli oikein jännittävä!

This is about an adorable tiger that is an air pilot delivering mail. She never gives up and believes in herself. It's a cute story, but I didn't like the ending when the boss gave her more parcels to send when she literally just got back. Even though she's really brave I thought it was foolish of her to fly during such a terrible storm because that's how she crashed and almost froze and starved to death if it wasn't for the mountain patrol that saved her.

The illustrations in this book were phenomenal and I loved all the different animals in it. They were adorable.

Siiri, peloton postilentäjä -kirjassa on jännittävä tarina ja elokuvamainen kuvitus. Siirillä on hieman arveluttavat työehdot hänen toimittaessaan kirjeitä vaarallisissa olosuhteissa vuoristoon. Taapero tykkäsi tästä!

Sadie lives in a world of anthropomorphic animals, with penguins and elephants as her co-workers.
Sadie is an airmail pilot who believes very fervently in getting the job done, even at great personal risk.
Sadie lives in a Dieselpunk world of multi-engine biplanes and buzzing autogiros.
Sadie clearly appreciates the beauty of her world, its soaring towers and even higher mountains.
Sadie lives in South America (Kellie Strom lives in London, but he does a very good job of depicting the setting in loving detail).
This is Kellie Strom's first book. I look forward to the next, and hope that it either features Sadie or more of Sadie's world.

I really liked this book it was a story about a little mouse that was a pilot that delivered mail all around South America. She was assigned to a mountain delivery and had some trouble. She luckily got some help from a friendly elephant and got her way back home. Something I would defiantly read this to my kids in the classroom to show them bravery in the little mouse. It was a short story to keep children entertain and had fantastic illustration to describe the scenes and bright vibrant colors.

I rarely review children's books, but I can't stop reading this to Archie. The illustrations are AMAZING, the world she creates is incredible - kind of a steampunk South America populated by human-like animals - and the story is about a spunky pilot. I could just stare at the pictures all day, and a lot of them are designed to pique curiosity and conversation. The story is a little light, but who cares with these illustrations?!

Fabulous illustrations and a satisfying story, perfect for bedtime. Don't miss the pre-story pic of Julieta mailing her love letter. (Thanks to little Daniel for pointing that out.)

I had a hard time with this book. It could have been more engaging and more fluid. There seemed to be no real driving force behind the story, but the illustrations are beautiful. Ages 3 and up
