Great collection of beautiful lace stitches for light and airy patterns. There's a DVD that I haven't watched as my player died a while back. The patterns are all written out, there are no charts. There is an introduction with pictures of the stitches used in the patterns. There's also a collection of swatches where you could practice before taking on the patterns in the 2nd half.

Ummm I haven't tried this out yet, reading though the special stitches and patterns it seems like a good book, some of the ideas they give at the back are quiet good and interesting. I will come back once I've had a go and tried out the DVD to see if it changes anything...
