5/2010- I love this comic strip, no doubt because it reads almost exactly like my real life with a teenage boy in residence. This is a collection of strips extracted and rearranged into a helpful manual for living with a teen. Perhaps my favorite line in the book was: "Teenagers: They're not ignoring you. They don't even see you." Hilarious, poignant and dead-on.

Borgman's pretty funny in general. This compilation, however, is intended to fit a framework, a set of guidelines for how to live with your teenager. That means that the comics are selected to answer specific questions or deal with specific problems. This in turn means that we don't get a very representative sampling of the Zits comics; it's a small selection, and not necessarily of Borg's finest work.

It is, however, a quick read, and amusing enough for the minor effort required.

"Stay sharp. They're counting on your failing memory."

I know what book I'm buying mom...and what ring tone I'm getting for my phone...
